Hi! My name is Marcin Podolec. I was born in 1991 in Jarosław, Poland. I work as a comic book artist, an animation director and illustrator. I am a founder of Yellow Tapir Films, 2D animation studio based in Łódź. I am primarily involved in non-fiction animation genres. I have directed several short movies like A Documentary Film, Colaholic, Insekt (an adaptation of Sascha Hommer’s comic book).

Apart from creating and producing animations, I write and illustrate comics. I have published over a dozen albums in Poland and abroad (in France, Spain, Italy, Germany). Currently, I am working mostly on a series for children.

I also work as an academic lecturer at the Polish National Film School in Łódź.
